The Brief
Following the construction of a brand-new 263,000 sq ft distribution centre, Coveris required a high-capacity pallet racking system that could take full advantage of the building’s internal height. The layout needed to support very narrow aisle (VNA) forklift operations, with a fast-track delivery to meet key go-live dates.
The Challenge
Install a 14.5m-high VNA racking system across a vast warehouse footprint, with over 350 tonnes of racking materials to be delivered and installed in just a few weeks. All works had to be delivered to tight tolerances, in parallel with other contractors on-site, and in full compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
